I LOVE MY waterslide paper from Hayes. I have tried many others and will stick with this always! Great product and super fast shipping. 5 STAR
Thanks for the 5 star review Tina - we're glad you love the product :)
Hello I print my images onto the water slide with the highest setting to print with maximum ink. After I transfer water slide to the glass the image brightness reduce to half of it's brightness. So image is not very bright and clear to look at. Please advise me what can I do to make the image more bright and clear when transferred to clear glass.
Hi Kenneth, Thanks for your feedback. I was able to reply to your chat message and will put the information here too: Due to the clear nature of the decal, lighter colors can appear less vibrant than darker ones in a design. There are few things you can consider trying to get a more vibrant color. You can change the colors on your design to be a bit darker or more saturated to help counterbalance this in colors you think are coming out too light. For example if a yellow is printing to light you can make the yellow on your design darker or a deeper yellow to get the desired effect.
Another tip is to layer two clear decals over each other which lifts the vibrancy. We have a You tube video showing this, check it out: https://youtu.be/ZqBreDw2n5A
Finally, consider if a white decal would be better for your application. White decals have an opaque background so colors show up accurately on the white background. If you’re not sure the difference between the two you can check out this video: https://youtu.be/kZyRIMy3O4o Hope this helps
Decal paper worked well.
We are glad to hear that the decal paper worked well for you!
I’m use to using waterslide that doesn’t take so long to detach from the backing. So finding the right time to try and remove it has been challenging. Sealing it is no problem. Clarity is great but my ink doesn’t dry fast and pools. I use a Epson Printer.
Good afternoon Kellie,
Thank you for your feedback. We have seen that the Epson printers do tend to disperse more ink than most printers. You can try to print on a standard print setting vs high quality or photo quality and see if that helps your printer to disperse less ink which would increase your drying time. Feel free to reach out anytime you have any questions.
